Young Farm ("we," "us," or "our") operates youngfarm.ag as a resource for agricultural planning tools and farm management information. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit the site or use our tools, where it goes, and what rights you have over it.
Young Farm does not collect or store any personal information on our servers. We have no user accounts, no login system, and no database of visitor data. Every number you enter into a calculator stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
Prices page preferences. The commodity prices page remembers which commodities you have pinned or shown using your browser's localStorage. This preference is saved only on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Soil sample form. The soil sample intake form saves the customer contact fields you enter in your browser's localStorage as a convenience so the form does not reset between uses. This data exists only on the device where it was entered and is cleared when you submit or reset the form.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (property ID G-4Q84XZJRVM) on all pages. Google Analytics collects standard, aggregated web analytics — pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic region (country/state level), browser type, and device type. This data does not identify you personally and is processed entirely by Google, not by Young Farm. Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser; you can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Analytics (Google LLC). Aggregated page-view and usage data is processed by Google. See policies.google.com/privacy.
QR codes. Print layouts on some calculator pages generate QR codes via api.qrserver.com. The only data sent is the destination URL — a youngfarm.ag page address. No personal information is transmitted.
Young Farm does not set any cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies as described above. No other cookies are used on this site.
Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months per Google's default settings. Browser localStorage data persists on your device until you clear your browser data or the relevant form is submitted and cleared.
Because Young Farm does not collect or store personal information, there is no personal data held by us for you to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about data Google Analytics holds, refer to Google's privacy policy and their data and privacy controls.
If you are a California resident, note that we do not sell personal information. If you are in the EU or UK, our legal basis for using Google Analytics is legitimate interest in understanding how our tools are used.
We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example if account features are added in the future. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
